Jesus...

Help us all. I am not sure who thought this was a good idea, but they really didn't think this one through did they? Robots powered by consuming organic matter?! Fucking brilliant.

Off Topic...but so now...

So I have been at work for ten minutes and already I am sick of hearing about Michael Jackson's death. There is only one other person here. It is not because I didn't like Mike, it is because this drives me nuts. When a celebrity dies these people with all their sadness and "it's too bads" make me sick.

I know I sound like a callous ass that has been ridden a little too hard but I don't think I am that heartless. I do feel bad for his family and his friends and people that actually cared about him. That does not include people who liked his music or listened to his albums. Those people should be happy that they got some pleasure out of his life. Most people die without bringing anything worthwhile to the table. His music is something to be celebrated.

Your faux sadness does not celebrate at all. It demeans. It demeans the people who are actually sad and it cheapens your own sadness when something tragic occurs in your life. It's like the boy who cried wolf, you only get so many times in your life to be sad. Please don't waste or exploit those times when a celeb dies. Real pain is when a family member dies, not when a dude who made a few albums you enjoy kicks the bucket.

So, enjoy his music but let those who should mourn mourn. Or, as an easier solution just don't talk to me about how sad you are because honestly this doesn't affect my day one bit. That might sound mean, but I don't think it is. I think its realistic.

Getting off my soapbox.

The subtle siege is underway...

It looks like trains in Florida have already started to do the will of the robot collective. Let us remember this brave freedom fighter.

While I am not too worried about robots that need human control it can be a glimpse of terrors to come. Behold mini-spy bot.

I think...

I just wet my pants. I don't understand why people would want to do this, but we need to know the enemy. My freaked out level is at 9. Maybe 10.
